Isaiah 41:10 (KJV) “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”

Fear has a way of showing up early.
There are mornings when you wake up and the pressure of life is already sitting on your chest before your feet ever touch the floor. Sometimes it is a situation that still has not changed. Sometimes it is uncertainty about the future. Sometimes it is exhaustion from carrying things that nobody else even sees. Life can feel heavy. But in the middle of all of that, the Word of God speaks with clarity and authority: “Fear thou not; for I am with thee.”

Notice what God did not say.
He did not say, “Fear not because the storm will immediately disappear.”
He did not say, “Fear not because every prayer will instantly be answered.”
He did not say, “Fear not because the road ahead will always make sense.”
He said, “Fear not…for I am with thee.”
That changes everything.

As believers, our confidence is not built on perfect circumstances. Our confidence is built on the presence of God. The peace of God does not come from having every answer. It comes from knowing Who is walking beside us through every unanswered question.

At Hope Chapel Olive Branch, we believe the presence of God is still the answer for hurting people. In a world filled with anxiety, fear, confusion, and uncertainty, the promises of God remain steady. His Word still gives strength to weary people, hope to discouraged hearts, and peace to troubled minds.

This promise in Isaiah is deeply personal. God says:
“I will strengthen thee.”
“I will help thee.”
“I will uphold thee.”

Three times in one verse, God reminds us that He is personally involved in our lives. He is not distant. He is not disconnected. He is not too busy for your burden.

The same God who placed the stars in the heavens is paying attention to your life today.
The image of being upheld by “the right hand of His righteousness” paints a powerful picture. It is the picture of a loving Father holding up a child whose footing has become unstable. Maybe that is where you are today. Maybe you feel tired, overwhelmed, uncertain, or emotionally drained.

But hear this clearly:
His grip has not loosened.
You may feel weak, but He is still strong.
You may feel shaken, but He is still steady.
You may feel overwhelmed, but He is still faithful.
God has not abandoned you in this season.

Sometimes fear tries to convince us that we are alone. Fear whispers that things will never improve. Fear magnifies every problem until it feels impossible to move forward.
But faith reminds us that God is still present.

Faith says:
If God is with me, I can keep walking.
If God is holding me, I can keep standing.
If God is strengthening me, I can keep fighting.
That does not mean every day will be easy. It means you do not have to face difficult days by yourself.

Before the noise of today rushes in, pause for a moment. Before the emails, notifications, phone calls, meetings, and distractions begin competing for your attention, stop and let the Word of God settle into your spirit.

Speak this verse out loud. “Fear thou not; for I am with thee.”
Sometimes you need to hear yourself declare what God has already promised.
The enemy wants your focus locked onto fear. God wants your focus anchored in His presence.

Today, take one step forward knowing this:
You are not forgotten.
You are not too broken.
You are not too far gone.
You are not carrying this alone.
God is still strengthening.
God is still helping.
God is still upholding His people.
And He is holding you today.

Hi, I'm Ryan Vanderford, and I'm so glad you're here. For over a decade, I've had the incredible privilege of serving as the pastor of Hope Chapel, a community built on faith, love, and the belief that hope is never out of reach. Ministry is more than a calling for me. It's a daily reminder that God meets us right where we are. Through every season of life, the highs and the hard days, I've seen firsthand what hope can do in a person's heart, and that's what A Moment of Hope is all about. My prayer is that this little corner of the internet feels like a warm cup of coffee and an encouraging word from a friend. Whether you're walking closely with God or just beginning to find your way, you belong here. So pull up a chair. Let's find hope together.
