Home Fellowship Groups
Roles
Host- Group will meet in your home.
Facilitator- Teaches the lesson and facilitates the group sessions.
Responsibilities:
Host home & Facilitator would work together to communicate to their home group location of meeting & organize snacks/ meal.
The host home could stay the same location or if others within your assigned group offer to host at their house you would communicate that with the group and change locations.
Food and fellowship is a huge priority in the success of home groups. This provides us an opportunity to live out Acts 2:46 "Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart". The host home could choose to provide the meal/snacks for the evening or organize the group to each bring something.
We will send out the lesson for the group at least 2 weeks before the scheduled home group. This will provide you the opportunity to be familiar with the objective of the lesson for the evening. It is important to give opportunities for individuals to connect and share throughout this time.
Please take attendance at night and email to [email protected] by 10am the next morning.
Dates:
Home Groups will be the 5th Wednesday of the month.
January 29th
April 30th

We will look at “five discipleship habits” from Acts our theme of the series will be E.V.E.R.Y
Acts 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
Verses 42-47 – New Testament pattern for discipleship
Acts 2:42-47 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
January 29 ENLIST (ministry) VOICE (prayer)
April 30 EXTEND (evangelism)
July 30 READ (Bible)
October 29 YIELD (time, talent, treasure)
THE LORD “ADDED TO THE CHURCH DAILY” PRECISELY BECAUSE HIS PEOPLE DID THESE THINGS DAILY! THEY “CONTINUED STEDFASTLY” IN THESE HABITS, WITHOUT A BREAK – EVERYDAY!
Each lesson will consist of about 10 minutes of material that you can read or make your own. Every lesson will present a list of discussion questions that you can choose from to get the group involved.
All digital notes and videos will be located at www.hope38654.com/homegroups
